NFC EAST TEAM BREAKDOWN Empty NFC EAST TEAM BREAKDOWN

Team: Dallas Cowboys

Offensive Strategy: Balanced.  Tony Romo has the mobility and accuracy to be a good Madden quarterback.  Running back Demarco Murray also has above average ratings.  When you mix in the receiving threats they have with Dez Bryant, Miles Austin, and Terrance Williams, you can begin to see how scary this offense is.  Don’t forget about their top 5 tight end Jason Witten either.
Defensive Strategy: Pressure the quarterback.  The Cowboys have the best pass rusher in Madden 25 in Demarcus Ware.  Bruce Carter, Sean Lee, and Justin Durant form a solid linebacking core.  Use these guys to force the other team into some bad throws.
Impact Players: QB Tony Romo, HB Demarco Murray, WR Dez Bryant, WR Miles Austin, TE Jason Witten, DE Demarcus Ware, DE Anthony Spencer, LB Bruce Carter, LB Sean Lee, CB Morris Claiborne, CB Brandon Carr
Key Newcomers: TE Gavin Escobar, LB Justin Durant
Biggest Strength: The overall number of good players on the team. As you can see by having 11 impact players above, the Cowboys have no shortage of good players in Madden 25.  They aren’t the type of team where you can focus on shutting one player down and that alone will make them very hard to defend.
Biggest Weakness: Safeties.  The safeties on this team are pretty weak in terms of Madden NFL.  They do have a good pass rush, solid linebackers, and 2 good cornerbacks so you should be able to compensate for that weakness fairly easily.

Team: New York Giants

Offensive Strategy: Pass Heavy. The New York Giants have an elite quarterback in Eli Manning and 2 playmaking wide receiver in Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz.  David Wilson is a viable running back who has top level speed when you want to mix in a run play or screen pass.
Defensive Strategy: Get After The Quarterback.  The Giants have one of the top 3 pass rushes in Madden 25.  Jason Pierre-Paul and Justin Tuck form the most feared defensive end combination in Madden 25.  Use them to create pressure on the quarterback.
Impact Players: QB Eli Manning, HB David Wilson, WR Hakeem Nicks, WR Victor Cruz, DE Jason Pierre-Paul, DE Justin Tuck, CB Corey Webster, CB Prince Amukamara
Key Newcomers: DT Cullen Jenkins, DE Demontre Moore
Biggest Strength: Playmakers On Offense.  Eli Manning, Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz, and David Wilson form an extremely formidable offense.  It will be hard for the opposing defense to stop them all.
Biggest Weakness: Back 7 On Defense. While the Giants back 7 isn’t all that bad in the NFL, they are below average in Madden 25.  You will have to create pressure with your front 4 if you want to avoid getting picked apart on defense.

Team: Philadelphia Eagles

Offensive Strategy: Speed.  The Eagles are absolutely loaded with speed in Madden 25.  They will have one of the fastest quarterbacks in Michael Vick, 2 of the quickest running backs in LeSean McCoy and Felix Jones, and 2 of the fastest receivers in Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson.
Defensive Strategy: Hope for the best.  This team leaves a lot to be wanted on defense.  Their strength over the last few years have been their stud cornerbacks which they no longer have.  You will need to be pretty crafty on defense in order to get consistent stops.
Impact Players: QB Michael Vick, HB LeSean McCoy, WR Jeremy Maclin, WR DeSean Jackson, DT Fletcher Cox, DE Trent Cole, LB Mychael Kendricks, CB Cary Williams, SS Kenny Phillips
Key Newcomers: HB Felix Jones, TE Zach Ertz, DT Isaac Sopoaga, SS Kenny Phillips
Biggest Strength: Offensive Speed.  This team has so much speed on offense it is downright scary.  If you use that effectively, the Eagles offense will be extremely hard to stop.
Biggest Weakness: Most of the defense.  The Eagles defense has a few playmakers but a lot of glaring holes.  Linebacker and secondary are especially weak for this team.

Team: Washington Redskins

Offensive Strategy: Option.  Alfred Morris is a very good power back in Madden 25 and you already know how amazing RG3 is.  The Redskins also have speed at receiver and a solid tight end in Fred Davis when you want to mix in a few passes.
Defensive Strategy: Pressure The Quarterback.  Brian Orakpo and Ryan Kerrigan form a top 5 pass rushing duo in Madden 25.  Those 2 guys alone should be able to get after the quarterback.  London Fletcher and DeAngelo Hall will be able to make plays behind them.
Impact Players: QB Robert Griffin III, HB Alfred Morris, WR Santana Moss, WR Pierre Garcon, TE Fred Davis, LB Brian Orakpo, LB Ryan Kerrigan, LB London Fletcher, CB DeAngelo Hall, S Brandon Meriweather
Key Newcomers: CB David Amerson, S Bacarri Rambo, WR Donte Stallworth
Biggest Strength: Robert Griffin III. The guy is pretty much superman in this game.  He has the passing ratings of an elite pocket passing quarterback and the running attributes of a speedy running back.  If you learn to use him well (instead of trying to use him by just randomly running around like most people do) then you will be just about unstoppable.
Biggest Weakness: Lack of true stud wide receiver.  The Redskins have some fast and pretty decent wide receivers, but no one you can count on to come down with a catch in traffic on a crucial 3rd down.  This team doesn’t have too many true weaknesses though.
